As a Senior Remarketing Specialist, Here's What You'll Do:

Remarketing Vendor Management: Interface effectively with vendors and vehicle remarketing channels to manage sale of off-rent trucks to ensure established turn-around times and to maximize resale prices.

  • Respond to sales inquiries within assigned territory and generate new opportunities to sell trucks.
  • Liquate inventory through wholesale channels such as dealers, independent auctions, Manheim, ADESA. etc. including current and prospective clients.
  • Manage relationships with auctions to build Express reputation and grow our remarketing brand.
  • Work with vendors and/or internal logistics teams on the timely pick up, positioning, and sale of units assigned to auctions to ensure reconditioning of units and addressing any performance deficiencies.
  • Allocate assigned units to appropriate sales channel and follow up as required.

Remarketing Process Management: Transport, Evaluate, Price, and Sell vehicles to meet remarketing goals and objectives.

  • Work directly with operations, logistics, license, and title to ensure all aspects of accelerated remarketing projects are fulfilled in a timely manner (e.g., pick-ups, vehicle assignment).
  • Evaluate vehicle condition reports and market conditions to determine the correct floor price for each vehicle.
  • Represent units online; assess auction activity and vehicle desirability determining the appropriate sale point.
  • Follow up on sales for missing titles for auction and direct sales.
  • Execute completion of direct sales and follow up on missing requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and recommend the strategy and procedures as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in This Role:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in vehicle remarketing, fleet leasing, rental, or other related fields.
  • High School diploma or GED required, 4-year degree in a business discipline a plus.
  • Possession or ability to obtain and maintain a State Driver’s License.
  • Required to obtain a PA vehicle salesperson license within 6 months of hire.
  • Strong industry knowledge preferred.
  • Understanding of used/wholesale vehicle values and MMR guidebooks, etc.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions.
  • Strong technology orientation required.
  • Strong Mathematics skills a must- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and calculate percentages.
  • Ability to gather and analyze remarketing data.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while accomplishing departmental and company goals.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and provide sound problem solving and critical thinking with moderate to minimal direction.


Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, printers, and fax machines.
