As a Fleet Logistics Coordinator, Here's What You'll Do:

  • Participate in the movement through carriers of vehicles, schedule, route, maintain, and track off rent vehicles to ensure timely delivery to vendors and reduction in vehicle idle time.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team to expedite repairs of off-rent vehicles, roadside issues, arrange towing, transport, and temporary transportation for off-rent vehicles.
  • Collaborate with logistics team on vehicle availability to determine open orders to fill and update notification status.
  • Analyze damage appraisals and make decisions on scoring units for possible redeployment or termination.
  • Initiates automotive services, including movement of vehicles through transport sites and vendors, verifying warranty coverages.
  • Ascertains automotive problems and services, reviewing vehicle appraisals and condition reports, conducting inspections, and/or coordinating remotely through others.
  • Consistently analyze the effectiveness and performance of the vehicle redeployment program to ensure vehicles are ready and available to meet orders by scheduling timely appraisals, movement, repair downtime, and monitoring trends in the industry.

Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in This Role:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 years’ experience in logistics and/or rental fleet management
  • Knowledge of safety processes and guidelines related to transportation (DOT)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent related experience
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and complaints and effectively respond to questions from customers, managers, vendors, suppliers, and the general public.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most estimates, technical procedures, and manuals.
  • Possess an analytical approach to problem solving and communicate effectively with management, employees, and customers.
  • Strong technical and communication skills, ability to collaborate across work groups, to direct the activities as well as planning and forecasting using EXCEL, Smartsheet’s.
  • Passionate about driving lower vehicle costs and strong sense of urgency towards reducing vehicle idle time through innovation and teamwork.


Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, printers, and fax machines.
